Suzanne Echemendia-Wirth, MD, is a board-certified emergency medicine physician with over 23 years of experience, specializing in the urgent diagnosis and treatment of acute conditions. A graduate of Vanderbilt University, she earned her medical degree from the Medical University of South Carolina in 2001 and completed her emergency medicine residency at Montefiore Medical Center/Albert Einstein College of Medicine. In addition to practicing emergency medicine, she serves as Medical Director of Hope Integrative Medicine where she also provides medication-assisted treatment services to support patients in their recovery. Outside of work, Dr. Echemendia-Wirth enjoys spending time on the water as an avid boater and fisherwoman, embracing the adventure and calm that these activities bring.
Jessica Ace, MSN, FNP-C, CEN, is a Family Nurse Practitioner based in Charleston, South Carolina, providing primary care and specialized services. She treats patients in need of medication-assisted treatment at Hope Integrative Medicine. She is dedicated to helping patients through a thoughtful, patient-centered approach, providing individualized care that addresses both physical and emotional needs. Her goal is to support recovery and overall wellness, ensuring that each patient feels understood and empowered on their journey to better health.
Kassi L. Goodman, Ph.D., LAC, LPC, ICADC, NBCFCH is an Internationally Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (ICADC), Licensed Addiction Counselor (LAC), and Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with over 20 years of experience in mental health and addiction treatment. Dr. Goodman also holds certification as a National Board Certified Fellow in Clinical Hypnotherapy (NBCFCH). In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Goodman is a respected speaker, author, and researcher. She has presented at numerous national conferences on mental health and suicide prevention. Her expertise, particularly in suicide prevention within military and veteran communities, has earned her invitations to speak at prominent events. Dr. Goodman has also contributed to peer-reviewed research, where her work on psychiatric care and suicide prevention in healthcare settings has advanced the field. Dr. Goodman is deeply committed to promoting mental health and addiction recovery, both in her practice and through her broader professional work. She is dedicated to ensuring access to quality care and advancing knowledge in the field of behavioral health.
Lauren Parkman, MSN, APRN, FNP-C, is a Family Nurse Practitioner based in Charleston, South Carolina, with a background that spans over years of diverse clinical experience. She began her career as an Emergency Department nurse, where she developed a solid foundation in acute care. Lauren is now an advanced practice registered nurse at Hope Integrative Medicine, offering patient-centered care with a focus on holistic well-being. At Hope Integrative Medicine, Lauren plays a key role in providing medication-assisted treatment for individuals on their path to recovery, emphasizing personalized care and tailored treatment plans.
Andrea Rizzetto, MSN, APRN, AGACNP-BC, is a board-certified Adult-Gerontological Acute Care Nurse Practitioner based in Charleston, South Carolina. She specializes in providing advanced care for patients with acute and complex health conditions, including emergency medicine, interventional pain management, and weight loss. Andrea is dedicated to supporting patients through personalized care plans that enhance their overall quality of life. In addition to her work in acute care, Andrea provides medication-assisted treatment to patients at Hope Integrative Medicine. Dr. Ashley C. Royer, DNP, PMHNP-BC, CCRN, is a board-certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner based in Charleston, South Carolina. With a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree and a background in critical care nursing, she offers compassionate and comprehensive care for a range of mental health conditions, including anxiety, depression, ADHD, and addiction. At Hope Integrative Medicine, Dr. Royer provides psychiatric medication management services and medication-assisted treatment, supporting patients in their mental health and recovery journeys with a personalized, evidence-based approach. In addition to her work with Hope Integrative Medicine, Dr. Royer also has her own private practice.
Rhonda Witt, MSN, APRN, PMHNP-BC, is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with extensive experience in psychiatric medication management and medication-assisted treatment. She is licensed and practices in both South Carolina and West Virginia, providing comprehensive mental health care to patients, including those at Hope Integrative Medicine. Rhonda is dedicated to supporting individuals on their recovery journeys, offering personalized treatment plans that integrate both medication management and therapeutic support. Her approach is tailored to each patient's unique needs, emphasizing a balance of effective pharmacological care and compassionate support to foster long-term mental well-being.
